Head of Technology Cambridge / WFH to £70k

Head of Technology / Development Manager (C# Python SQL) *Hybrid WFH*. Do you have a range of technology and software development experience? You could be heading up a range of projects and services for one of the worlds' most respected educational establishments.

As Head of Technology you will have a range of responsibilities including business analysis and project management for new software services (or rebuild of existing), you'll take a lead role on technical design and architecture including creating clear roadmaps and technical designs, ensuring that all services have clear and up-to-date specifications and documentation. You will also ensure the appropriate level of support is delivered and that there is a robust infrastructure that integrates with other products and services and have budgetary responsibility.

Following a remote interview process you'll join the team in Cambridge 2 days a week with flexibility to work from home the other 3 days.

Requirements:

You're able to understand system and software specifications and select the appropriate design to meet requirements

You have experience of architecting and designing software services, drafting functional and technical specifications

You have experience of project managing new software services

You have C#, Python and SQL programming skills

You're familiar with managing IT suppliers and service providers

You have a good understanding of current best practices in software development, project management, cyber security and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)

You're collaborative with great communication skills
