Head of Technology Cambridge / WFH to £70k

Head of Technology / Development Manager (C# Python SQL) *Hybrid WFH*. Do you have a range of technology and software development experience? You could be heading up a range of projects and services for one of the worlds' most respected educational establishments.

As Head of Technology you will have a range of responsibilities including business analysis and project management for new software services (or rebuild of existing), you'll take a lead role on technical design and architecture including creating clear roadmaps and technical designs, ensuring that all services have clear and up-to-date specifications and documentation. You will also ensure the appropriate level of support is delivered and that there is a robust infrastructure that integrates with other products and services and have budgetary responsibility.

Following a remote interview process you'll join the team in Cambridge 2 days a week with flexibility to work from home the other 3 days.

Requirements:

• You're able to understand system and software specifications and select the appropriate design to meet requirements
• You have experience of architecting and designing software services, drafting functional and technical specifications
• You have experience of project managing new software services
• You have C#, Python and SQL programming skills
• You're familiar with managing IT suppliers and service providers
• You have a good understanding of current best practices in software development, project management, cyber security and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• You're collaborative with great communication skills
