Land Planning Manager (Solar / Battery Storage)
Birmingham (Hybrid)
£50,000 - £70,000 + 20% + Pension (10%) + Flexible Hours

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global renewable energy specialist where you will be play a vital part in developing and growing a Planning team within the business with huge career progression available.
The company are a specialist renewable energy developer with a portfolio of Solar & Battery Storage projects across the UK with an impressive pipeline in place for the next 2 years. The company conduct the full land feasibility, planning, submission right through to construction and handover.
This is a great role for someone who is looking to build on the experience that they've already built up as a Planning Manager and is now looking to develop themselves further within a niche specialism as part of a dynamic new team of like-minded team individuals within the company.
The role:
* Involvement in public consultation, negotiations and appeals
* Preparation, submission and monitoring of planning applications
* Strengthening and growing client relations within the renewable energy industry
* Lending specialist knowledge of the renewable energy industry to colleagues across the company
The person:
* Holding an accredited RTPI degree
* Chartered Town Planner with at least 5 years' experience
* Previous involvement with renewable energy at planning phase or a keen interest in renewables and the environment
* Strong interpersonal skills and confident with managing and building client relations
* Full UK driving license
