What - IT Network Engineer Where - You'll be hands on with our Network from our office in London! When - Actively seeking appropriate profiles now Why - Picture this, a High Performance Computer sitting underneath a wind turbine farm in regional New Zealand. This client is building digital infrastructure that uses renewable energy to process data on an industrial scale.  What the client needs in General:
Multiple years of experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellenceExperience running an international TCP/IP network (on private and public networks) across multiple time zonesExperience in Cloud based solution design and implementation.Ability to ensure watertight Cyber Security complianceNetwork design (WAN/LAN) and documentation experienceVPN implementation and managementRemote management of network and toolset experiencesFamiliarity with multiple Linux distributions installation, monitoring and upgrade best practice.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of CI/CD and familiarity with software developmentThe ability to troubleshoot issues using metrics and logsNetwork & Security Specifics:
Plan and deploy network infrastructure security measuresAbility to travel to sites (possibly international) to ratify network designs and remediate when necessaryPerform security audits and identify security measures that require improvement.
