A semiconductor company based in Edinburgh focused on the development of optical interconnect is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior Test Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and maintaining a test system, with the aim of collecting and assessing data.
• Testing and analysing RF performance.
• Verifying the budget for the fiber optic links.
• Analysing and testing the performance of the individual components used in the experiments, such as the transmitters, transimpedance amplifiers etc.

To be considered for the Senior Test Engineer role you must have experience with LabVIEW or Python, ideally have a background in optical technology, confident with common test equipment, have an understanding of I2C interfaces, FPGA's and micro-controllers, and have some experience in PCB design and schematic capture.
