A stable multi-national company currently seeks a Principal RF IC Designer to work in Ireland’s Semiconductor hub of Cork! Offering a hybrid working model, a very competitive salary plus bonus and RSUs and the chance to work on a variety of RF IC Designs for applications including; satellite communications ground and off ground, wireless charging, GPS, wireless and wired communication for industrial, automotive and consumer etc. Working in a technical Lead role on major RF ASIC developments you will have responsibility for leading the specification, design, verification and lab validation activities to meet functional and performance requirements for radio systems. You will provide leadership of ASIC design projects and lead designs for major blocks, ensuring designs are successfully guided into production. The successful Principal RF IC Design Engineer will have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in radio design, including 3-5 years at Principal level. You will have competence in all aspects of RF/Analog IC design, be able to show leadership and  provide guidance to other designers. A deep understanding of CMOS design and in radio system architectures is required. Experience is required in some or all of the following blocks; Mixers, filers, PLLs, VGAs, LNAs, PAs, Antennas, Tx and Rx with ADCs and DACs beneficial. Excellent communication skills are required along with the ability to drive initiatives, change and improvement in engineering delivery.
