Job Type: Perm/Full-Time

Travel: Must be onsite 2x per month

Salary: $160,000 - 185,000

The Data Scientist will play a key role in redefining and reengineering the way data is managed across the organization's data enterprise. The Data Scientist will support strategy and vision by creating and executing solutions from initial concept to fully tested production.Must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. We are looking for true data evangelists who know how to make an impact and know how to create and deliver business value. ResponsibilitiesBuilding predictive models and other analytic solutionsApply statistical and machine learning methods to analyze large, complex data setsCollaborate with various domains/Strategic Insights Group to brainstorm creative uses for dataDevelop complex algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomesPerform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and complex business problemsDeliver actionable guidance and recommendations to internal product and business stakeholders to help understand nuances of the models built and tactics for improvingAct as the subject matter expert on solutions produced by working closely with internal business partners to help customers better understand their dataActively participate in the execution and planning of our data capture strategies to improve data automation, data quality, and our analytics capabilitiesRun ad-hoc data extracts for requests from diverse partners and automate those needs over timePerform highly complex, technical, and creative predictive analytics projects.Manage and prioritize multiple moderate-to-highly complex projects including gathering business requirements, developing project goals and requirements, coordinating project timelines, and communicating project status and deliverables with customers and management.QualificationsExperience developing and owning production-level models using various data setsExperience shipping models to production, and ensuring continuous availability via measurements, and tools like statistical process controlKnowledge of the Azure Modern Data Tech StackAbility to translate business needs into technical requirements through active partnerships, collaborating with partners, data scientists and data engineersCompelling storytelling through analytics and visualization, getting your point across, and keeping your audience engagedStrong critical thinking, active listening, and communication skills to infer business needs, grasp the underlying context, and translate loose direction on analytical projects into concrete solutionsAttention to detail and desire for end-to-end ownership of deliverablesAzure Tech Stack: Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Analytics, HDInsight, Analysis Service, Event Hubs, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, SQL Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database, etc.Benefits:Competitive SalaryEXCELLENT Bonus packageComprehensive Benefits ProgramPaid certifications/learning and growth opportunitiesMedical/Dental/Vision401KSuperb company tenure - work for a business trusted for over 25 years!! *Please email a copy of your resume to [email protected] for consideration!
