Cloud Business & Service Strategy Senior Manager

Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Halifax, London, Manchester, or any of our main sites across the UK - We're happy with home working the majority of the time, however you'll need to be in office 1 or 2 days per week.

Salary & Benefits: £70,784 to £102,410 per annum (location dependent), plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

What will I focus on in this role?

To manage and Lead the provision of Technology Services supporting all LBGs systems and services, meeting the needs of the wider group and enabling LBG to be the best bank for customers.

Providing effective and efficient leadership for a comprehensive and complex, high customer focused function and defining and contributing to the strategic direction of the area. Supports the wider group and works with multiple stakeholders, by providing deep technical expertise, and leads the group in the resolution of service related and management issues, ensuring appropriate technical prioritisation.

Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;

Manages the development and/or delivery of budget plans for own department.

Manage relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner, while typically using support teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Takes responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development.

Initiates, formulates and implements new business practices for own discipline, while managing the development and/or delivery of a significant element of the organisation's change management programme.

Sets longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation.

Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.

Develops functional or operational policies and participates in developing policy frameworks for area of responsibility or department, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organisation.

Monitors and manages a wide range of activities of a significant team ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by liaising with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's compliance policy.

What do we need to see from applicants?

Significant experience in Business Service & Strategy

Knowledge of Cloud transformation (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Ability to lead and challenge / influence 'top-level' stakeholder group appropriately

Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team of top performing and enthusiastic individuals
