Project Manager - inside IR35 - 12 months - Hybris working Birmingham

As the Payroll Project manager, you will be accountable for leading the project through the full project life-cycle from procurement and selection of the Systems Integrator, planning and mobilsation, delivery and transition to operations. The payroll project represents significant benefits and risks to the client within a complex stakeholder environment and will be used to pay over 75,000 UK employees and transform their experience of HR.

Project management:

*Highly developed project management skills with experience of delivering payroll solutions on a large scale through the full project lifecycle.

*Experience of agile and iterative delivery methods.

*Strong leadership skills with the ability to create a culture of high performance.

Communication:

*Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

*Accurate and concise writing skills to create project reports and documentation.

*Able to articule complex risks, issues and problems succinctly to a range of stakeholders.

Problem solving and decision making:

*Ability to manage complexity.

*Ability to remove internal / external barriers.

*Ability to understand, assess and manage risks.

Change management:

*High degree of personal resilience.

*Negotiation skills

Stakeholder management:

*Great stakeholder management skills. Ability to work with multiple internal and external partners to deliver great outcomes.

*Strong business acumen and awareness of impacts of change to stakeholders

*Ability to build and influence relationships effectively including senior stakeholders

*Understand the perspectives and agenda of stakeholders and take this into account when communicating

Specialist sills:

*MS Project for maintaining the project plan.

*MS Excel for information analysis, tracking activities and producing management information on progress.

*MS PowerPoint for producing status reports, presentations for Steerco.

*Use of agile management tools, such as JIRA to manage delivery of requirements through the project lifecycle.

*Knowledge of payroll solutions and implementation methologies. Experience of implementing SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll is preferable, though experience of other payroll solutions will be considered.
