The BI Developer will play a pivotal role within the global IT team. The team is currently responsible for the delivery of IT services to approx. 2000 users, across 20 offices worldwide (with continued growth planned in 2022).You will be responsible for developing and supporting ETL packages, Business Intelligence, and Analytical reporting output solutions (via QlikSense) across a wide business estate / operational teams. This will include scoping, planning, and managing business requests involving all aspects of BI solutions and data warehousing such as data sourcing investigations, design, implementation, testing, and end-user support. Daily use of Microsoft SQL (SSIS and T-SQL), JIRA, and Service Desk software to deliver the business needs.An expectation of this role will also look to undertake the support and development of reports on our Salesforce org.The role will involve demonstrating a strong 'Can do' attitude to customer service, excellent communication & technical skills, coupled with a good knowledge of technology and a strong understanding of the data structures and reporting tools.Role Responsibility:Develop and maintain the ETL and DWH data processes in SQL ServerDeliver and support reports being developed on Qlik Sense and SalesforceManage report development requests via the IT Service Desk and JIRA, ensuring requests are dealt with according to SLA & ensuring customer expectation is met or exceededIdentify & implement any improvement to data systems using project management skillsSet up reporting & notification systems that can regularly measure & monitor KPIs across the business to meet specific business targetsWorking with the business to support business processes through reporting systemsRequirements:Commercial technical experience working in SQL Server technologies: SSRS, SSIS, SSASCommercial technical experience building reports/dashboards; in Salesforce would be (beneficial)Commercial technical experience working with BI tools; QlikSense or Qlik View would be (beneficial)A foundation degree or higher within a related IT subjectExpert communicator with solid interpersonal skillsExperience in defining, implementing & maintaining reportsWillingness to go above and beyond your responsibilities to ensure tasks are completedPassionate about dataStrong work ethic and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressureGood customer service skillsBenefits:Ground floor opportunity at a fast-growing, global leader in IT RecruitmentStructured career development plan within IT.Opportunity to grow your IT career within a fast-paced global leader.A culture that motivates, excites, and stimulatesHybrid working With strong communication skills and a positive attitude, this is an ideal opportunity to develop and enhance your skill set as part of a growing organisation.Please get in touch with me to discuss further the role and yourself as this is only a brief overview of the job.
