Python Developer London / WfH to £65k

Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Hybrid WFH*. Are you a data centric Python Developer seeking an opportunity to work on complex and interesting systems whilst continually learning and progressing your career?

You could be joining a FinTech solutions provider as they expand their UK presence.

As a Python Developer you will prototype and develop new features, data analytics and enhancements to the core trading platform with a focus on improving backend infrastructures, optimising platform performance, ETL pipelines and ensuring scalability. You'll get to see your work go live rapidly from idea to prototype to build and release.

Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the London, City office 2 days a week with flexibility to work from home the other 3 days.

Requirements:

Strong Python development skills including NumPy, Pandas

Good understanding of SQL Alchemy and Data Modelling techniques

Familiar with Distributed Systems

Logical mindset with a passion for problem solving

Collaborative, keen to learn and share knowledge with others

Software stack includes Flask, Java, RabbitMQ, JavaScript (Backbone.js), MySQL, HTML5, CSS (Bootstrap), Docker, AWS - experience with any of these advantageous

Degree educated, 2.1 or above gained in Computer Science or similar technical / scientific / numerate discipline
