Reporting to the Head of Data, the Data Architect will play a transformational role in defining the enterprise data architecture with an immediate focus to implement the foundations for a modern data platform. This role will also help design and guide the execution of the Data Strategy across the enterprise to create opportunities for integration and automation to enable Data as an Asset. The architect will define the future state data architecture which will establish a single version of truth and provide data analytics and self-service capabilities. This role will work closely with the IT Architect and the wider IT community to align all projects and initiative to the future state data and application landscape.As we continue to scale our data capabilities, we are looking for data evangelists who know how to make an impact and know how to create and deliver business value. We seek specialists who are passionate about data who are ready to bring their experience to build a data-driven culture.ResponsibilitiesDefine the future state data architecture to allow the firm to realize its goal of becoming a data-driven organization.Design and implement sustainable data-driven solutions with the next generation of cloud-based data technologies to meet the demands and needs of our business domains.Ensure the new modern architecture is designed with scalability and longevity in mind and adopted firm wide.Responsible for designing the future state data models and data supply chain to establish one source of truth that is accurate and trusted throughout.Accountable for establishing the foundations for advanced data analytics capabilities and self-service architecture.Design the Target State Operating model to enable data as a service.Define and deploy architectural data standards for firm wide adoption.Champion data governance adoption and the continued definition and common use of the Data Dictionary and Data Lineage.Responsible for defining and delivering innovative enterprise data capabilities to support the realization of the Data Strategy.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect that exhibits a passion for data and is ready to take on the challenge of realizing the Data Strategy and helping us to become a data-driven organization.10+ years of experience working in an enterprise data architecture function supporting Data Strategy initiatives and driving business value through architecture adoption.Skilled at leading organizations through data modernization and evolution leading to better data management and cultural change.Experienced with industry leading data infrastructure technologies and end user tools.Can demonstrate skills in transforming data landscapes to deliver mission critical data, at the highest quality across multiple business channels.Knowledge of creating and delivering modern data platforms that will provide advanced analytical capabilities.Experience in designing data architectures that will define and deliver data as an asset.Exceptional leadership and collaboration to work with business domains, peer groups and technologists.Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas across various levels of the organization.Proven experience leading firm wide data initiatives.Experience working in the Financial Services and/or Private Equity sector would be beneficial.RequirementsUnrestricted authorization to work in the United StatesComply with pre-employment screening, including background check
