Backend Developer Remote UK to £70k

Backend Developer / Principal Software Engineer (C# .Net Core AWS microservices) *Remote WFH*. Do you have backend C# development skills combined with a strong knowledge of software best practices, SOLID design patterns and TDD?

You could be progressing your career in a hands-on, lead role at a market leading media software house.

As a Backend Developer you'll take a lead role on a brand new Greenfield product offering and support the transition from traditional Broadcast workflows into IP and Cloud technology. You'll be investigating, designing and implementing solutions to problems and new feature requirements and contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices. You'll mentor others and act as a champion for development techniques, promoting the use of reviews, latest technologies, tools and techniques whilst working with a modern technology stack including C#, .Net Core, microservices and AWS.

Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and full-time work from home from anywhere in the UK (with the caveat that'll you'll join the team around once a quarter for a social).

Requirements:

You have strong C# .Net development experience, including .Net Core - they're using C# 6

You have experience with Cloud based technologies: AWS or Azure

You have Agile TDD experience and are advocate of code quality

You have architecture and design experience and a good knowledge of SOLID coding principles

You have a thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data Structures

You're collaborative, keen to take a lead role and share knowledge / mentor others

You're degree educated, Computer Science preferred
