Job Title: Production OperativeLocation: LondonSalary: Salary £19,760 (Minimum Wage Annual Salary at £9.50 Per Hour)Job type: Permanent/Full-Time - Hours: Shifts - Morning 8 am - 4.30 pm or afternoon 2.30 pm -11 pm. ObjectivesTo safely and hygienically carry out the duties given to you by your supervisor or manager and to operate, maintain and clean the equipment and working environmentPerformance measuresFollow instructions and complete tasks promptly and effectivelyMaintain a good working relationships with work fellow workersSwift implementation of preventative actionsStrive to reduce wastage and improve efficienciesMain activitiesManually weighing, cutting and preparing various cheeses and other products to customer specifications.Maintain the highest standards of cleanlinessCorrectly use processing equipment for which you are trained, do not use any equipment which you are untrained to useWork efficiently and safely & make certain all products are made to specificationReport any equipment malfunctions to your line supervisor or managerAccurately complete all records and report to your supervisor if there is any fault with equipment, raw materials or productAdhere to all Health and Safety and Quality Manual instructionsRemove waste as necessary, "clean as you go"With your team, ensure that all equipment and environment are cleaned daily, to a high standardAll cleaning schedules are adhered tooAll operational procedures for weighing, mixing, packaging, labelling and metal detection are followed.
