HSSE Training, Assessment Development Coordinator   My Client a Leading Energy Supplier based in St James Square requires a HSSE Training, Assessment Development Coordinator for a 5 Month contract @ £280 per day inside ir35
  Role Synopsis: Clear and accurate description of the role i.e. business context, why the job exists, purpose of the role Reporting to the I&E External Operation and Wellbeing Manager, the Launchpad and Ventures HSSE coordinator will be responsible to coordinate LP&V HSSE processes (including HSSE reporting and action tracking), and to support the development and roll out of HSSE & Wellbeing information and training campaign. Within LP&V we have a venture capital team (Ventures); a business building team (Launchpad); an incubation team (Incubation); a commercialization and asset management team; and a technology insights team. The LP&V activities and team have been growing rapidly in the past couple of year, and the trend will remain the same for the near future. There is a need of additional HSSE professional to support LP&V activities. The role will primarily be supporting the business building and venturing teams in Launchpad, Incubation and Ventures. The LP&V HSSE coordinator with work closely with the LP&V safety lead. Key Accountabilities: Specific tasks / activities, management, reporting, interfaces etc. Ideally about 5 distinct statements, describing the role in more detail, in terms of activities and output core to this role The successful candidate will be required to: Safety Lead for LP&V Douglas House Office Liaise with FM to ensure that hazards and associated risks in the office are controlled and mitigated to as low as practicable. Ensure that the office is kept in a safe manner through good housekeeping, Undertake safety walkthrough in the office Reinforce positive safety behaviour Coordinate LP&V HSSE processes Monitor & report on LP&V HSSE performance against HSSE KPI's to LP&V HSSE Leadership team including Quarterly Performance Review Support conformance tracking of the LP&V HSSE training requirements and the annual HSSE plans Act as the LP&V IRIS coordinator and input HSSE man hours and km driven in IRIS for LP&V (IRIS is the bp online HSSE reporting tool) Collate LP&V portfolio companies safety observations, near misses and incident data. Provide support to the roll out of HSSE processes in LP&V and Portfolio Companies Support LP&V Self verification processes Issue incident investigation / Lessons Learned one-pagers. Manage the LP&V Emergency List in the Online Tool ‘SendWordNow' and organize regular notification test Participate in and support the HSSE and wellbeing networks and working group across LP&V. Support on the CCM agenda including metrics reporting and support LP&V exercises and training. Support the development and roll out a series of HSSE and Wellbeing information and training campaigns to encourage and embed positive safety and caring culture within the business. Develop ideas for HSSE and wellbeing campaign activities. Produce campaign material - posters, pamphlets, presentation and training material. Promote HSSE & Wellbeing training courses Organise training sessions and workshops Key Challenges: A self-starter capable of taking the initiative in response to changing circumstances An articulate and confident communicator Essential Education: University degree (or the equivalent in work experience), preferably in a technical discipline Formal HSSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent) highly desirable Essential Experience and Job Requirements: Specific demonstrable experience/ skills/ behaviours/ qualifications (vocational, Degree/Masters/Doctorate, professional) expected for the role. List in priority order, max 10 bullet points Experience in HSSE and wellbeing roles, including detailed understanding of personal safety and process safety matters. Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), engagement, team-working and influencing skills are required Self-motivated, accustomed to being in positions of responsibility and accountability. A good working knowledge of IT Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills Ability to plan and prioritise Have strong organisational skills, for records management Ability to provide services to the highest specification Ability to build strong working relationships
Ability to motivate self and others, excellent time management and organisational skills
