The company are a civil engineering firm based in London who provide a full and diverse range of civil engineering and construction services. From commercial to residential to medium-large scale infrastructure and with a large amount of clients, the variety in the role and the chance to have hands on responsibility is immense. Over the years they have established themselves as a company who deliver consistently high standards to both their longstanding clients as well as to new client projects.

In this position you will be involved in a range of Engineering activities including setting out and overseeing construction work all while maintaining high level of health & safety. Another key aspect of this role is managing quality assurance process specifically regarding pre-pour inspections, works inspections records, instrument checks as well as cube testing and administration. To be prepared you will need to liaise with the Site Manager each morning as well as review designs and documents ahead of construction works going ahead.

The role would therefore suit someone who is an enthusiastic Civil Engineer, who has some experience working on site, setting out and is also happy to report progress to the company and work with clients in achieving projects to a high standard. This role would suit someone who is at a junior/intermediate level of their career but looking to develop themselves long term in the company who will support continued career progression.

Civil Setting out Engineer

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Chance to progress up to Project Engineer/ Project Manager

Annual bonus based upon performance and profit

The person:

Experienced Civil Site Engineer

competent using Total Station.
