Senior Developer - £65,000+Benefits - Fully RemoteYou will be part of a innovator and global leader for a multi-specialist sport retail company with great company culture and exciting new applications and improvements. Maintaining and building new features and components for their existing sitecore sites, as well as contributing to the setting up and porting of legacy sites into their sitecore estate. You will also be maintaining and building .NET applications and APIs.This role will also involve maintaining and building new features for their existing SQL Server middle tier database. You will also mentor junior developer and act as an expert in helping define technical solutions and approach SA's and wider technical group.Role & ResponsibilitiesHelp with definition, adoption and consistency for all development activities including TDD/BDD, unit testing, and continuous integration.Define and contribute to best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes, and compliance to aid and improve business performanceTo feed deployment pipeline and configuration requirements into projects and DevOps, so they are delivered as part of the project - not an afterthought.Help define and contribute to the governance for the Delivery teams - ensuring we adhere to coding standards, policing via regular Agile ceremonies.Design and develop clear, consistent, simple to use code.Develop software solutions with true separation of concerns.Produce code output that will work cross browser / device and degrade for legacy browsers.Help department work towards creating unit tests and contribute to the review of unit test coverage.Contribute to strong communication between teams to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvement.Contribute to all agile project ceremonies.Skills & QualificationsExcellent .NET/ASP.NET MVC & .NET Core knowledge.Excellent SQL knowledge on SQL Server 2016+.Demonstrable knowledge of System Integrations.Working experience within Agile Frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).Visual Studio 2017/2019.HTML/JavaScript/CSS/VUE JS framework.Outstanding problem solving and logical thinking skills.Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and client-server software architecture.GIT knowledge.MentoringBenefitsStaff discount up to 30%.33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).5 days paid sickness.7% Total Salary Employer Pension Contribution.Access to our Healthcare Scheme.Seasonal shut down over the Christmas period with a gifted day of leave.Free Annual Flu Jabs.Enhanced Sick Pay Scheme for staff with over 5 years length-of-service.Casual work attire.Please send your CV to [email protected] or call Sebastian on 0203 148 4651 for more details on the role.
