£35,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Flexi Time + 25 Days Holiday

Specialising in the design of highly specialised purpose built machinery and having been established for over 20 years they have established themselves as a market leader in the industry and having been acquired by a larger parent organisation are seeing increased investment in the business. As such they are looking to take on an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer who can help them push forward and grow with the business.

In this role you will be working in a new office facility and involved in all stages of design from initial customer enquiries and concept designs through to final machine builds. All machines As part of a small close-knit electrical design team you will liaise with other departments to ensure customer designs are met. Working closely with a range of interesting customers in a number of different industries you will design electrical systems, schematics, PLC, and safety systems. You will be supported by a Lead Engineer who will help to support your professional development and will support additional training and progression opportunities.

The role:

*Full scope of Electrical Design of Special Purpose Machinery

*Liaise with clients and other departments in the team

*Full scope of design from concept to machine build

*Knowledge of PLCs

*Familiar with an Electrical CAD package
