Air Quality ConsultantLiverpool / Ellesmere PortSalary - up to £40kRole LocationThe role is full-time and based in the North-West with the opportunity to work from home with travel required across the UK for specific project opportunities.The CompanyOur Client is an independent family business. With over 40 years in the field they operate throughout the UK with a team of fully qualified acoustic and air quality consultants dealing across the board with clients that include blue-chip manufacturers, the NHS, Universities, major developers, as well as the general public.The RoleTo support their continued growth, they are seeking to recruit an Air Quality Consultant or Senior Air Quality Consultant based in the North West.The successful candidate will support a wide range of on-going projects across sectors including housing, transport, energy, government. You will have a client-facing role with responsibility in terms of managing project teams and project delivery. You will lead and contribute to the development of proposals for new work and for large and complex public and private sector tenders.You will be involved in overseeing and delivering stand-alone air quality assessments for new developments, preparing chapters for Environmental Statements including those that form part of Development Consent Order (DCO) applications and undertaking leading edge research projects.Skills and experience we are looking forEssentialSignificant experience in the technical management of large and complex air quality assessmentsExpert in atmospheric dispersion modelling, particularly for the assessment of air quality impacts related to major transport and industrial infrastructureWide understanding of ambient air quality monitoring methods Full UK driving licence.QualificationsRelevant A-Levels or equivalentBSc or higher in an appropriate science-based disciplineMembership of relevant professional institutions, such as IAQM will also be taken into account Reference Number: BBBH156857To apply for this role or for to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Conor Meehan at Rise Technical Recruitment.
