The Opportunity
As one of our content designers you'll responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing content for Parliament's digital services.
You'll use evidence, data, and research, and you'll build relationships across Parliament to focus on the needs of users.
Your efforts will support the Digital Service's aim of delivering accurate, user-focused, and accessible content.
What You Need
demonstrable evidence of using metrics and user feedback to define and refine website or intranet content, with experience of user-centred content design.
strong writing skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and accessible.
proven ability to form effective working relationships with key customers, stakeholders and colleagues within a complex management structure, upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.
experience of working on content projects from start to finish.
a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and cope with fluctuations in workload.
the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK
About The Team
The Content Team sits within the Products Directorate. We collaborate closely with other design and development teams on a wide variety of digital projects, including Parliament's website and intranet.
Our role is to help colleagues and stakeholders across UK Parliament understand customer and user needs, make evidence-led decisions and create excellent content that meets UK Parliament's standards - no matter the context or channel.
