We are looking for a Product Designer - Mid Level, to help us shape the UNiDAYS products of the future. You will research, ideate, craft, and deliver experiences that our customers love. 

Working across a mix of strategic pillars to begin with, you will eventually move into one and be the design voice of that pillar. We are looking for someone who is able to talk with authority and confidence in Product Design and be comfortable working with a range of people in the cross-functional pillar in order to deliver against business goals. 

The role sits within the Product and Engineering department (P&E) and reports to the Head of UX. 

In order to be successful in this role, you must be passionate about our products and users, delivering meaningful experiences across multiple platforms that create business impact.

Day to day responsibilities 

Problem solving 

  • Transform complex problems into valuable and rewarding experiences
  • Use experiments, research, insights, and data to challenge and validate design decisions to improve the customer experience in your pillar 
  • Solving user's problems, putting them at the heart of everything you do, and creating brilliant user experiences
  • Apply strategic thinking to design effective, engaging end to end experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technological realities across platforms


  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data to drive product strategy, delivering against the pillar roadmap
  • Design and conduct user research both independently and in collaboration with our insights team
  • Collaborate regularly using strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills from the first discovery session through to delivering the final UI
  • Facilitating ideation and product discovery sessions with your pillar and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Work with other Product Designers and the Head of UX  in order to deliver a cohesive customer experience and vision across our platforms and pillars
  • Working closely with other Product Designers to keep design systems and other product design team concerns aligned


  • Execute all stages of the UX design process from discovery to ensuring that your vision is materialised and final production 
  • Engage and conduct user research to ensure the user's voice is incorporated into the design process
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Create  clean, carefully crafted designs
  • Balance delivering the ideal experience with knowing where and when to make scoping trade-offs based on technical constraints with engineering

What we need from you

in order to be your best self in this role, you will be/have:

  • Strong understanding of user research practices to validate problems and solutions
  • Experience working in an agile environment to create mock-ups, high def designs, and technical specifications for developers
  • Solid knowledge of platform-specific patterns (e.g. iOS Human interface guidelines, Android Material guidelines) and up to date with latest trends
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies and design thinking to improve the customer experience
  • Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices, user-centred design principles
  • You have strong experience in working with data and understand how to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions
  • You are fantastic at communicating your thinking and design decisions - you're able to get people along on the journey with you
  • Strong facilitation skills- online, in-person, and hybrid
  • Examples of well-executed UI
  • Experience designing and shipping impactful products
  • Experience working in an agile environment and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with the tools of the trade -Figma, Framer, Notion, Jira, etc
