Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a dynamic, forward thinking and rapidly expanding company, the company are based in Lancaster however the position offers Hybrid working 2-3 days a week and so anyone living in the north west and willing to commute a couple of days a week will be considered.

As a Network Engineer, you will help to implement and support network and security architecture for enterprise organisations. The role will be varied and provide opportunity to work with the latest technology, offering real scope for progression and development including paid for professional certifications and the opportunity to be promoted to more senior roles within the business.

Ideal Skills and Experience (not all essential):

Experienced supporting a range of Network and Security products and servicesCisco, Juniper, HP Aruba, Checkpoint or Fortinet experienceRouting, switching, network installation / configuration / maintenanceWAN / LAN / TCP/IP / Routing Protocols / L2 / L3 / WifiFault diagnosis and ability to troubleshootAny knowledge of the following would also be beneficial: web filtering, email security, unified threat management, two factor authentication, VPN, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, fibre technologies, SD-WAN

Most importantly, a positive attitude along with the desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly is essential, as training and development (including professional certifications such as JNCIP / CCNP / NSE4) will be invested in the successful Network Engineer.
