We need a Lead QAT Analyst with innovation in their DNA.

We support hybrid working

The Insolvency Service is a leading Government agency that plays a crucial role in maintaining business confidence to power economic growth. Our 1,700 people across 22 offices support companies and citizens in financial distress, maximise returns to creditors and investigate any commercial misconduct, whilst safeguarding the interests of redundant employees. You can join us in our mission and enjoy a fast-moving career with exceptional rewards.

Our Application Services team is responsible for developing and maintaining a diverse range of business applications and harnessing cutting-edge technology to streamline our services and processes. You can expect different challenges every day as you manage and mentor a small group of QAT Analysts, including leading delivery practice, setting the strategy for test analysis and establishing standards and methods. You'll also take the lead on complex problem-solving, applying your experience and imagination to the full, and will deliver expert advice on functional and non-functional testing, including creating novel approaches and peer-reviewing others' findings. Most importantly, you will actively translate business needs into technology responses and inspire your colleagues to think commercially and strategically as well as functionally.

Already a subject matter in testing automation, you should be experienced in Selenium, Postman and Gherkin, familiar with JMeter for performance testing and ideally knowledgeable regarding GOV.UK's Service Standard for accessibility and browser compatibility. However, it's your ability to operate outside the box and champion innovation in everything you do that will matter most.

In return, you can expect outstanding conditions of employment, including flexible working arrangements, 25 days' holiday (increasing to 30 days after five years), additional paid leave for learning, development and volunteering, a season ticket loan, generous parental leave, an employee assistance programme, a season ticket loan and membership of the Civil Service pension scheme.
