This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Software Developer to join a well-renowned facilities provider who offers great opportunities to train, including external courses, in a role where you will directly impact the business.

This company invest in infrastructure projects across the public sector including health and social care, education, leisure and libraries sectors to name a few. They have been established for over 20 years and are now looking for a Software Developer to improve their in-house system.

In this role you will be maintaining and upgrading their internal custom-built software/database. You will work with senior stakeholders to understand operational / system requirements and develop, implement and support an ongoing programme of system improvements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years commercial experience as a Software Developer and good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC and SQL. Any experience with Power BI, JavaScript, HTML, NodeJS and jQuery is desirable.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Developer to join a well-established company in a highly technical and varied role.

The Role:

*Maintain and upgrade internal custom-built software/database

*Design, develop, test and roll-out effective solutions to improve the databases and software

*Work with senior stakeholders to understand operational / system requirements

*Based onsite in Stockport

The Person:

*Commercial experience as a Software Developer

*Good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC and SQL

*Any knowledge of Power BI, HTML, NodeJS, JavaScript and jQuery is desirable

*Must be commutable to Stockport
