We're looking for innovative engineers and natural problem-solvers, to join us in a number of roles. As a key member of a dedicated and driven Powertrain team, you will have the most advanced systems and technology in the world at your disposal. Our ceaseless search for new ideas is taking us in some fascinating new directions in conventional and advanced powertrain solutions:
Electric Drive Units
E-Machines/inverters
Internal combustion engines
Hydrogen fuel cells
Battery cells
Hybrid transmissions and driveline
Cooling systems
To join us, you'll need an engineering related degree together with a curious mind in one or more of the following specialist areas:
Design validation and data analysis engineers. Delivering data from tests in support of design release activity or technology advancement.
Components hardware engineers. Design, development, and lead on the technical content and integrity of specific powertrain components across specific programmes, delivering the commodity plan to quality, cost and time.
Battery cell engineers. Battery cell development, testing and delivery. Electrode chemist and design optimization of cathodes, anodes and electrolyte materials and components.
System engineering. Definition, development and delivery of harmonised systems solutions, consisting of multiple interconnected components, hardware and software integration.
Calibration engineers. Delivering of calibration work packages using data gathered from engine-in-the-loop (EIL), Powertrain-in-the-loop (PiL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations and optimisation methodologies.
Control engineers. Design and development of model-based control functions, demonstration of new concepts and systems via desktop simulation.
CAE and CFD analysis engineers. Simulation engineers using virtual techniques for simulating: thermal fluid systems within batteries, electric drive units and internal combustion engines, CAE and tribology, and hybrid powertrain system analysis.
