We are searching for an experienced Senior Front End Developer for an award-winning agency, someone who is able to use, HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks to develop effective user interfaces for varied websites and mobile apps.

The successful candidate will be an essential part of a progressive web development team. You will be highly motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming and you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions, visually appealing interfaces and enhancing usability.Essential DutiesSupport the team with front-end development, ideas and delivery.Craft digital solutions from technical specifications and client briefs.Provide consultancy and innovative solutions to digital briefs.Have your finger on the pulse and be aware of recent and emerging technologies and concepts that will benefit the department.Use your experience and knowledge to guide and develop best practice and improve efficiency and quality.Skills and ExperienceWriting clean and semantic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.Creating mobile first, responsive, cross-browser experiences, with a focus on performance.Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React and Angular.Experience with CSS pre-processors including Less and Sass.Tools like NPM, Gulp, Grunt.Processes such as bundling, automated testing and linting.Version Control (Git).Accessibility best practice.We are looking for candidates who are: -Passionate about creating cool digital things.Works well in a team.Willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally to help further the team.Positive attitude towards challenging situations and multi-tasking.Time management skills involving the ability to estimate accurately the time required to complete digital projects.Attention to detail and pride in your work.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with and translate digital solutions to non-IT personnel.Must be committed to making 'anything possible' with a 'can do' attitude.This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), it is office-based. The working days are Monday to Friday.
