Engineering Planner (Manufacturing)

Office Based - Commutable from Oxford,

£23,000 - £26,000 + Internal Training + Private Pension (8%) + Private Health Care + Flexible Work Hours (Core Hour System) + 25 days Holiday +

This company is a globally renowned manufacturer of bespoke products for medical and blue chip clients on a world-wide scale. Due to continued demand for work, they are looking for a Planner to play a crucial role in ensuring all departments are run smoothly and that deadlines and targets are met. You will be supporting people across a small handful of teams, and will be heavily invested in through ongoing internal training processes, fantastic company benefits and a great work life balance.

Reporting predominantly to the production manager, you will be working on project timelines, making sure workloads, materials and schedules are all planned to meet project deadlines within the agreed timeframes with clients. You will also be working with the materials handling departments to monitor and report stock levels to make sure the correct amounts and types of materials are onsite at the right times, ready to be used in production processes.

The Role

* Work across multiple departments to plan schedules, materials, and workloads

* Ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently

* Check goods in for the correct quality and quantity.

The Person

* Experience in a planning or scheduling role

* Knowledge of an ERP system

* Ideally have experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
