We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Azure DevOps Engineer to play an active role within an award-winning MSP which also happens to be a Microsoft Gold Partner!The Azure DevOps Engineer will be accountable for advocating, creating, and delivering Azure cloud-based environments. This is a hands-on delivery position within a bigger multi-disciplinary team, with a focus on client engagement.We are looking for candidates who have a development background! Main Information:REMOTE > might have to travel once every quarter to client sitePermanentUp to £75,000DOES NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIPRole & Responsibilities:Work with clients of all skill levels to discover and capitalise on public cloud advantages, outlining long-term roadmaps, risks, and opportunities.Cost estimates for cloud transformation, including cloud use, delivery effort, and service costs, are being developed.Design documentation for client settings that is consistent with corporate standards and external guidelines. Participate in the development of team standards and practises.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to generate high-quality code assets.Acquire certificates to demonstrate skills in technical subjects.Clear communication in written, oral, and visual mediums, use of good listening and explaining abilities.Skills Required:Provisioning of Azure resources via ARM templates, PowerShell, and CLI, demonstrating best-practise use of automation (GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines).Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. DotNet, JavaScript).Containers: Kubernetes/DockerGood working knowledge of Git for source control, with awareness of alternatives.Familiarity with: Networking (VPN, IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, ExpressRoute)Monitoring (Insights, Log Analytics, Dashboards)PaaS Services (web apps, SQL)Security (Sentinel, Azure Defender, Service Principals, AD/ADDS/B2C) To apply for this role, please send an up to date CV to [email protected] or call 0191 731 5282 for a confidential chat.Nigel Frank are the go-to recruiter for Azure, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform roles in the UK, offering more opportunities across the country than any other.
