The client are a leading multinational law firm with a rich history spanning across 200 years. They are currently seeking an experienced M365 Developer to join their organisation as their IT side of the business begins to expand.The focus of the role will be to assist in their SharePoint migration projects as part of their Global Software Development team. Working alongside another experienced SharePoint Developer and the IT Development Lead, you will contribute to the digital transformation of the business through SharePoint and Low-code development. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to take the next steps in their career and work proactively within O365 and on-premise SharePoint environments. The responsibilities of the role will include:Coordinate with stakeholders to collect project specifications and determine the best way to implement them in a SharePoint, Teams and broader Microsoft 365 environmentCreate and deploy projects using applications like SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, Power Platform or the Developer Portal from the Microsoft 365 suite of online toolsKeep up with and distribute updates to current SharePoint sites and workflows as neededOffer third-level support for applications that were created internally. Ensuring that all tasks and activities are carried out in strict accordance with our internal rules and regulatory standardsTo clarify, the position is located in Glasgow, operates on a hybrid scheme, offering up to 3 days a week to work from home! In terms of salary, the opportunity is offering up to £55,000. The skills that the client are looking for include:Commercial experience in the following technologies:SharePoint 2013, 2019 on-premise, SharePoint Online, including usage of the SharePoint Framework to deliver solutionsWeb Development front-end frameworks such as jQuery, jQuery UI, Knockout, Angular, ReactHTML5 / CSS3 technologies,Ability to develop and deploy SharePoint solutions, workflows and web parts using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer and SharePoint Online AdministrationEffective team-working, communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining and building working relationships with colleagues and clientsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think efficiently and creativelyIt would be extremely desirable to have proficient knowledge of wider M365 applications, such as the Power Platform.Should this role be something of interest, please reach out!
