Trade Desk Analyst London / WfH to £70k
Trade Desk Analyst / Quantitative Analyst (PhD MSc) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you bright, well educated with excellent data analysis skills; looking for an opportunity to establish your career in trading?
You could be joining a specialist Hedge Fund with £1 billion in assets.
As a Trade Desk Analyst you'll work directly with a small group of front office traders that are well respected within the industry to manage the quality of data and perform analysis and R&D on trading strategy to forecast elements of demand and supply of energy (LNG Oil & Gas) for European markets looking at weather inputs, demand models, real-time data and will perform data intensive modelling.
You'll be working in a collegiate team environment based in North London with a small group of accomplished software / data engineers and finance entrepreneurs and be rewarded with large bonuses. There's excellent career progression, this role will enable you to become a Trader.
Following a remote interview / onboarding process you'll join colleagues in the North London office two days a week, with the other three work from home; you'll be working with a small group of accomplished software / data engineers and finance entrepreneurs.

You have a record of academic achievement, likely to have studied to MSc or PhD level - Maths, Physics, Economics or Finance preferred from a top tier university
Ideally you will have some commercial experience in similar role although this isn't necessary for PhD candidates
You have a strong knowledge of data analysis
You have programming experience with R, advanced Excel and statistical techniques
Python and SQL experience would be an advantage
You're a confident communicator with excellent communication skills
