Java Developer London / WfH to £100k

Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java microservices) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled Java Developer looking for an opportunity to progress your career in a senior, hands-on role whilst gaining valuable knowledge of financial trading systems?

You could be joining a FTSE 250 trading platform provider.

As a Java Developer you will design and develop components to support highly scalable real-time financial trading systems, working on a range of projects such as payments and identity verification. You'll have a focus on backend Java but also with exposure to JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular and React on the frontend.

Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the London, City based offices for 2-3 days a week with the rest of the week work from home.

Requirements:

• You have strong Java 8 coding skills including concurrency
• You have experience within microservices environments
• You have a good knowledge of database design and development (SQL / Oracle)
• You have experience with unit / integration testing
• Ideally you will also have some experience with AWS, Spring, JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular or React
• You're collaborative with excellent communication skills
