Data Engineer - SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure I am working with one of the largest wealth management organisations in the UK who are looking to add to their team that offers support regarding the ongoing development of its data platform. The organisation boasts a headcount of around 2000 employees with offices in over 30 locations around the UK. As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas - Work as part of the analytics and data team to design and develop data pipelines within a Delta Lakehouse architecture.Help design and develop data models that are used for reporting and analytics.Design and develop reports and dashboards within Power BI.Take a lead role regarding solution delivery.Identify incidents within BAU workstreams and apply the necessary fixes.Work with stakeholders across the business in order to deliver current initiatives, promote best practice and identify new data opportunities. This is a salaried role paying up to £85,000 depending on your experience as well as a very attractive benefits package. To be successful in the role you will have a good mix of the following skill - Previous commercial experience in data solutions design and development, including Datawarehouse, ETL tools and data integration.Very good understanding and hands on experience with technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory using Delta Lakehouse architecture.Programming skills with SparkSQL and PySpark.Good understanding of data modelling techniques.Hands on development experience with on-premise data solutions based around SQL Server and the SQL Server BI Stack; SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
