The Role
They are now seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join their European Engineering team, whose mission is to conceptualize, design and implement trendsetting, innovative technical solutions in the field of data-driven advertising and marketing technology.

The day-to-day responsibilities include: Management and support of our state-of-the-art, cloud-based data-centric products Strategic and conceptual enhancements of our Data Management Platform (DMP) and related technical systems Orchestration and development of automated data processes Data analysis for strategic and tactical planning Consulting of business stakeholders on various levels Close collaboration with other national and international tech teams, data scientists and research specialists Close collaboration with external partners (e.g. Google, Amazon, etc.) Product innovation The Person
You will have several years of professional experience in at least one of the following fields: marketing/ad technology, marketing/ad operations, data engineering or data science.
Required skills include: Advanced SQL skills The latest skills in modern data architecture, modelling and processing concepts including ETL tools (eg Matillion) A general passion for data, digital products and platforms Excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility and reliability Ideally, professional experience in the field of media agency business and/or online marketing, including knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (e.g. DSP, Ad Server, CDP, Tracking) Some practical experience in programming languages (e.g. Python, C#) Practical experience in cloud-based solutions and databases (e.g. Azure, AWS, Snowflake) The role is hybrid model, with lots of flexibility for remote working, but you will be required in the office as and when to attend meetings. Some travel to Germany may be required occasionally. The salary on offer is up to 70k pa, plus some great benefits.
