Digital Product Designer - Fully Remote UK - Perm - £70,000

Jefferson Frank are supporting a client who are undergoing major strategic change, digitising the pharmaceutical industry. The Digital Program is a pivotal part of the future strategy as they are looking to build the link between digital and community pharmacy, enabling customers to enjoy the convenience of online with the personal service that are provided through their pharmacy and member network.

Our client has recently acquired a competitor and have inherited their customer base and infrastructure.

About The Opportunity:

You will report directly to the Digital Product Manager and work closely with other colleagues in the newly formed Digital Team as well as other colleagues in the wider organisation.

You will be joining the organisation at the start of its digital journey, giving plenty of scope to innovate and set up the team for success.

You will have responsibility for design elements of the digital product portfolio working closely with other colleagues. Your remit will include the service design, user experience and user interface design element.

You will set the design system for the product team, focusing on the design of the service and linking this to the customer experience ensuring that it is simple to use and visually appealing. You will represent the end user in product decision and your experience will enable you to do this well.

As a Digital Product Designer you will:

  • Be passionate about user experience ensuring the customers are central to all designs
  • Have experience working with service design and be able to bring organisational elements together to create a market leading customer experience.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role.
  • Have used Figma or sketch tools to develop designs and prototypes
  • Experience of the full software development lifecycle including traditional and agile techniques.
  • Experience working with senior staff within an organisation and interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with agile software development techniques and teams.

The role is full time and would ideally be able to commute to Cheshire when needed, however they do work flexibly and we would support working from home for much of the time.
