Business Analyst - Tax / Accounting / Process Analysis - This is a long term contract opportunity to join our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:Liaising with tax colleagues, IT functions and other stakeholders to provide business analyst support for the continuous improvement and transformation of tax processesOwning the documentation, prioritisation and implementation of internal and external change requestsUtilising tax technology solutions such as ETL or BI toolsSupporting the conduction of the yearly tax digital trend survey and staying up to date with tax digital trendsActing as the go-to person for new digital solutions for tax colleaguesContributing to the successful implementation of ongoing and new system improvement projects that have an impact on the tax department

Your experience/knowledge:Tech savvy and willing to develop into a tax technology expert2+ years of work experience in a Finance, Tax or IT Department, and ideally 1 year of prior business analyst experienceExperience with using ETL and BI tools and/or with an ERP implementation program is a plusAbility to drive forward multiple deliverables in parallelFamiliarity with tax concepts such as VAT, transfer pricing, income tax accounting and withholding tax is an advantageBachelor's or Master's degree in either Finance, Accounting or IT Management or equivalent qualifications

Your soft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizationsAbility to cultivate networks throughout an organization to gather support and to work in an agile manner
