Contracts Manager (Construction - Healthcare/Commercial)London (Essex/East London - Sites for this role)£55,000 - £65,000 + Company Vehicle and all travel expenses coveredExcellent opportunity to join a dynamic construction company in a close-knit and friendly environment, where you will have the opportunity to assist in the growth and retention of an excellent client-base.On offer is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a locally established and expanding Construction company. The right candidate will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects (healthcare & commercial) within the construction sector and have a chance to progress once you have earnt your stripes.In this role you will be working in a close knit team. Your role will include contract management, project management, client relationships, and ultimately ensuring the delivery of an excellent service. The sites will be based in Essex (NHS Projects) and East London alongside some Central London sites (Commercial projects). Therefore experience in these sectors would be a bonus but not essential. Project values range from 100k - 500k.The ideal candidate will have a good level of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years' experience in contract management. Coming from a Building Surveyor background and past Project management is desirable. *Manage projects from cradle to grave
* Office and Site based role (4/1 site bias)
*Surveying of works and assisting in the submission of tenders
*Management of labourThe Person:
* Significant knowledge and experience in the construction industry on varied projects (Healthcare and Commercial)
* Relevant experience in Contracts Management (2 years min)
* Technically minded, with ability to work individually and part of a team
