This leading developer of power electronics systems and software urgently seeks a Senior Software Architect to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Senior Software Architect will be responsible for defining, analysing and designing the software architecture for power solutions, algorithms, software stack and system partitioning. The Senior Software Architect will also be expected to act as technical lead for the software team for implementation of software architecture building blocks and application software for digital switch mode power supplies. After completing your technical education, you will have gained extensive experience developing embedded software and firmware at bare metal level and also under Linux or RTOS in C and C++. You will have a successful track record developing software for power controller and power electronic applications and have gained further experience designing and implementing software architectures. Any exposure to system level modelling using EDA tools, simulation, Matlab or multicore architectures would be beneficial.
