Main Purpose of Job
To provide IT support role and help desk role to customers. Involving remote work, telephone support and onsite support, Cloud systems support / monitoring.
Relationships
- Responsible to the Managing Director
- Liaise with customers and suppliers
Main Tasks of Job
- Help Desk support covering 1st line 2nd line and 3rd line support roles
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
- Replacing parts as required
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
- Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals (e.g., software developers)
- Testing and evaluating new technology
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems ,networks and cloud based systems

- Installations and onsite hardware support

Previous experience preferred
- Microsoft certifications
- Office 365 administration / support
- PC diagnostics and repair
- MSP systems and cloud based support / backup systems.
The successful applicant must have use of own car (mileage allowance provided)
