Agile Business Analyst - Trading Front office Applications -  Investment Bank

ESSNTIAL - Banking / Finance 

Strong experience as a Business Analyst, or strong experience as PM, or ex-Software Developer with relevant experience in a trading environment

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities

Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written

Experience in defining and executing end-to-end tests on trading systems

Experience in defining and detailing acceptance criteria

Experience with working with in-house development teams

Experience working in an Agile delivery methodology

Experience of working in a formal project process methodology

Familiarity with defect logging systems and defect testing and re-testing cycles

Experience working with distributed teams

Experience co-ordinating activities within an enterprise environment

Desirable

Strong understanding of the trading business and associated products

Prior exposure to trading systems used by clients (such as Bloomberg, or similar)

Experience in testing complex flows distributed across multiple systems

Have a good understanding of Capital Market deal flow from pricing to booking

Within this department, business is responsible for the development of applications to support creation, distribution and ongoing management of research content.

The next major project is the delivery of a mobile application for both Android and IOS. To this effect, we are seeking to appoint a Business Analyst  with proven experience in working with the business and IT teams to analyze ongoing functional change within complex chains of systems and validate the implementation by actively participating to the UAT phase.

The role is highly client facing and will involve a strong interaction particularly with Product Management, Sales, Trading and Compliance in the Front Office.
