C++ Developer Linux East Sussex to £60k

C++ Developer (Linux Qt). Are you a dedicated technologist who enjoys solving high-impact business problems? Do you want to work in an environment that combines technical innovation and experienced engineering teams to build robust, cross-platform products?

You could be joining a market leading tech company that build advanced control systems to manage various hardware products within the rail industry. You will play an integral role in shaping these products and driving the company's success. 

As a C++ Developer you will be joining a committed and enthusiastic R&D engineering team of 15 where you'll design and develop applications in C++11 (moving to C++17) that will manage the external hardware products. You will have technical ownership of your designs and services and will influence good coding practises among your team whilst encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration. A typical day for you will involve designing, coding, reviewing, and testing code, defining the technological future for the products, and mentoring more junior team members.

The company is based in East Sussex, close to Brighton, and has on-site parking available. You'll be part of a fantastic work environment with training and career progression opportunities as well as flexible working options (remote working 2 days a week optional).

Requirements:

Previous experience within C++ development roles within Linux environments

Experience contributing to building, designing, and deploying performance, reliable and scalable systems

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: Qt experience
