The role is important because the programme replaces a large part of our old Finance systems across the BT Group. This transformation includes the implementation of an SAP/HANA platform. In order to move from our old systems to new, we need to ensure processes are thoroughly tested by end user and ready to be adopted on go live with minimum disruption

This role will, in conjunction with the Test Manager and Business Deployment Manager, lead, plan, co-ordinate and participate in the testing of the program ensuring a risk assessed set of business testing scenarios are covered

This role manages and delivers user acceptance testing for the Program which consists of multiple platforms and components to numerous stakeholders.

This will include leading planning, progress meetings, stand-ups, logs, RAID, forecasts, reporting, resources and measures/KPIs, as well as critical engagements with the BT business stakeholders to deliver a testing cycle that build user confidence and mitigates go live risks through the UAT cycles and defect resolution.

There will be a need to bring people together to find solutions to problems and work to tight timelines. Prior experience in a UAT lead role covering Record to report, Source to Pay, Invoice to Cash and Reporting is a must. You will be expected to manage a group of business testers of 100+ given the scale and complexity of BT. You'll need to be able to think ahead, pre-empt requirements for key meetings, and drive the preparation for these. You'll also hold the pen on the status of UAT for UK Finance Transformation project.
