Platform Engineer Work from Home to £70k

Platform Engineer (Linux Terraform AWS) *Remote / Hybrid WfH*. Are you looking to work with the latest technologies and gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems?

You could be joining a market leading FinTech company that provides a highly functional suite of software products to support post-trade processing for clients including most of the financial institutions across the globe.

As a Platform Engineer you will be developing and delivering new services for the expanding the client base and operating regions, ensuring a secure and highly available platform infrastructure that evolves to meet the demand. You'll join a small team that owns the entire infrastructure stack and developer / test automation tooling that software developers use to build applications with responsibility for the availability, security and performance of the core platform. You'll also be involved with monitoring design and implementation, capacity planning, security design and testing, incident handling etc.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in the London office around once a month / quarter.

Requirements:

You have experience of working on high availability, secure, enterprise grade SaaS platforms running on-prem and / or Cloud

You have a good knowledge of Linux OS, virtualisation and hypervisors, networking

You have experience of building and maintaining infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using technology such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, github and other cloud native tools

You have a good working knowledge of containerisation and container orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS experience

You're collaborative with great communication skills

As a Platform Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus bonus and benefits.
