Start: ASAPDuration: 6 months plus extensionLocation: mostly remote plus some occasional travel to Amsterdam or BudapestRate: depends o nexperience - tbc All the travel expenses will be covered by the client.Role summaryReporting to the Project & Program Manager, the IT Project Manager - Service Delivery is responsible for running smaller (EUR100k) up to mid/large-sized (EUR1m) projects within time, budget and above customer satisfaction.Specific responsibilities:* The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for initiating, executing and handing over IT projects.* Projects are in the area of Service Delivery and their related systems.* Project management activities include: o Building and running a successful team (lead & motivate a team of technical and other experts)o Project documentation (e.g. PIDs, Project Charters)o Produce initial project budgets and regular financial forecastso Ensure the appropriate governance structures are setup for the programme, in line with company's project methology o Establish and maintain excellent stakeholder relations with users, senior management and internal and external partners.o Progress reporting o Internal and external resource managemento Deliver projects in time, within budget, while meeting and exceeding customer expectations Job description: Experience* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, of which a minimum of 3 years as Project Manager.* Experience in service operations and processes as well as related projects (technical and operations)* Proven track record of running projects with budgets up to EUR1m.* Sound knowledge of service operations systems* Sound understanding of dependency between IT operation and project solution and impact on business* ITIL awareness and proven record of successful project transition to support* Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels ranging from Directors to technical specialists* Proven team leadership experience* High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to handle confidential matters professionally, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity. Personal Characteristics* Good presentation and communication (oral & written) skills.
