This business specialises in the design of all construction materials above and below the ground focusing on the foundation assessments and design for housing developments. Working closely with local and national based housebuilders covering a wide geographical area.

The role will requires you to assist in the production of engineering solutions for site infrastructure for a range of end users. By joining a small, closely knit team, you will immediately become a key part of the business and have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of tasks. You will be well supported in your development towards your career goals with senior staff experienced in mentoring through various routes both internally and externally

This is a great opportunity for a civil engineer who wants to progress within the company , offering their skills and experience assisting a senior engineer. The company is committed to your individual career development in progressing through the ranks. In this role you will :

• Collection and collation of design data
• Production of design calculations
• Producing layout drawings and details using AutoCAD and Civils3D to company standards
• Carrying out site reconnaissance
• Conducting assessments of land constraints and opportunities
• Contributing to preparation of written reports and technical submissions
• Consultation with external clients, consultants and approving authorities
• Carry out simple ground investigations, observing construction and structural inspections of properties

The person:

• Experience and knowledge in the use of master series software
• Some experience working on site
• Degree in Civil Engineering ( preferred not essential)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Have the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
• Full UK Driving License (required)
• Right to work in the UK (required)
