JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Perform routine hardware and software installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot basic PC networking principles including cabling, TCP/IP, Wireless, DNS, DHCP, Windows Authentication.
  • Address incoming support tickets by resolving, routing or escalating to appropriate engineers.
  • Onboard and offboard employee accounts, computers and devices.
  • Provide assistance and training to on-site and remote employees as needed.
  • Perform virus remediation and clean up vulnerabilities.
  • Build, deploy and troubleshoot personal computers running Windows 10, Microsoft M365 Office suite and other business applications.
  • Build, deploy, and troubleshoot Apple laptops and peripherals.
  • Maintain and improve the operability of Windows laptops and desktops, including updates, and disk cleanup.
  • Schedule and implement upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
  • Provide after-hours support for technical emergencies.
  • Operate and support technology-related office resources, including Conference Room A/V systems, Physical Access Control, Security Cameras and Visitor Management tablets.

Education & Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in computer science, IT or related field, or certificate from Technical school in pertinent field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' IT infrastructure experience.
  • Certificates in Microsoft and Cisco a plus.
  • Experience with basic Windows Active Directory and Exchange account administration, including account creation, resetting passwords, adding PCs to a domain, and permissions.
  • Experience with basic Windows Server resources, including file, print and DHCP.
  • Experience with firewalls, switches and Wireless APs.

Skills

  • Strong communication and personal skills for supporting C-Suite executives and their staff.
  • Punctual and professional. Tidiness is a must.
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize task and document solutions.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be able to work without constant supervision.
  • Willing to learn every aspect of the site systems and network environment.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Technical Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, etc.).
  • Experience with:
  • » Desktop: Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), AV solutions, HelpDesk ticketing systems, Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Fortinet VPN client.
  • » Telecom: iPhone, Android, RingCentral VOIP.
  • » Server/Network: Fortinet, Spam Filter, Windows Defender, VMWare, ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, Microsoft Server, Teamviewer, Screen Connect, Putty, PowerShell.
