An excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer Technician to join a Multi-Disciplinary design and engineering consultancy with great development opportunities and internal progression. The role will requires you to assist in the production of engineering solutions for site infrastructure for a range of end users. By joining a small, closely knit team, you will immediately become a key part of our business and have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of tasks. You will be well supported in your development towards your career goals with senior staff experienced in mentoring staff through various routes to different grades of ICE membership. In this role you will :Preparation of designs for development infrastructure, principally roads and drainageCollection and collation of design dataProduction of design calculationsProducing layout drawings and details using AutoCAD and Civils3D to companystandardsCarrying out site reconnaissanceConducting assessments of land constraints and opportunitiesContributing to preparation of written reports and technical submissionsConsultation with external clients, consultants and approving authorities

The person:Experience in the preparation of engineering drawings using AutoCAD software and experience of producing technical written reportsDegree in Civil Engineering ( preferred not essential)Have HNC qualification or a HNDMinimum of 1 years of experienceFull UK Driving License (required)Right to work in the UK (required)
