Regulatory Reporting BA (Transaction Reporting)

£90k - £100k + Benefits + Bonus

Hybrid Working Week: 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote/WFH

As a trusted recruitment partner to one of the world's most trusted banking groups for more than nine years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Regulatory Reporting BA to join the transaction regulatory reporting team who are responsible for maintaining and delivering all changes associated with their transaction reporting applications.

You will work with a range of regulations, primarily EMIR, MIFID II and CFTC, but also ASIC, HKMA, CSA and later this year JFSA. Primarily covering Securities for London and Europe, the team is responsible for a range of products including cash equities, bonds and derivates. The existing team is made up to two BA's (including one Lead BA who manages the team) and six developers (offshore in Europe).

You will support the Lead BA to cover all remediation in addition to several ongoing projects with an overall aim to deliver change. Some of the projects you can expect to be involved in this year include application upgrades, onboarding/integrating other entities onto the platform, CFTC re-writes and EMIR re-writes.

Key Requirements / Expectations

-Very good broad understanding of EMIR, MIFID and ideally CFTC regulations

-Knowledge of ASIC, HKMA, CSA and/or JFSA regulations helpful

-Broad knowledge / experience across a range of asset classes (cash equities, bonds, derivates, etc.)

-Experience working closely with developers at a technical level to create functional specifications

-Technically astute, with an understanding/experience of XML especially helpful

-Able to look at problems and concepts from both a business and technology perspective

-SQL knowledge beneficial (but not essential)

-Exposure to UAT - experience of writing test scripts, and performing UAT cycles

Hybrid Working Model: You will spend two days a week on-site in the EMEA HQ in Central London (Ropemaker St, EC2Y 9AN / Moorgate Tube) with the remaining three days working remotely from home.
