Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - £70k - £75k DOE

Location: UK Wide - any UK office base / remote / some travel to company offices and client site

We are currently assisting this prestigious IT organisation in the recruitment of a number of Oracle Infrastructure Engineers to lead in this hands-on role and work on Oracle Cloud implementations, as well as Oracle's OCI and PaaS products. These may also include data centre to cloud migrations, or cloud-native initiatives focused on digital enablement, microservices, API strategies and application modernization.

Role overview:

*Design, deploy, manage and operate Oracle technology solutions

*Work with modern Open Source or third-party solutions

*Manage database solutions, including performance tuning, high availability and disaster recovery

*Support SMEs on technical aspects of project work, including Oracle Cloud Migration Assessments and Oracle Cloud Solutions

*You will have the opportunity to work with wider cloud offerings, such as Oracle's IaaS and PaaS portfolios

Requirements:

*Oracle Engineering experience across one or more aspects of modern infrastructure: Networking, Storage, Databases, Containerization, etc.

*Awareness of modern Cloud-native infrastructure and development practices such as Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management tooling and DevOps tooling

*CI/CD including tools such as Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible

*End-to-end project deliver experience

Some office locations include: London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol and Cardiff
