As a trusted recruitment partner to this growing software company, we have been tasked to recruit a technical support engineer to join their tightknit IT team. The successful candidate will have a full clean driving license and their own car.
Skills
*Hands-on experience with implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 Cloud solutions.
*Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
*Have exposure and experience with fundamental aspects of IT infrastructure.
*Knowledge awareness of a wide range of IT based Technologies
*Drive and passion to develop both internal and customer systems

Role Overview
* Providing Customer Support to the SWS Group, and its customer base
* Providing Technical Services and Support to the SWS Group, and its customer base
* The role will include providing telephone and site-based support to the group and its customer base, particularly focusing on the following areas
o Performing preventative maintenance processes as defined by the customer contracts
o Resolving operating system and layered product issues
o Own software and solutions based upon the customers product portfolio
o Third party software packages based upon the customers product portfolio
o Maintaining all aspects of data and voice communication systems
o Maintaining all aspects of networking infrastructures
* The role will require the answering and routing of incoming calls, ensuring any customer enquiries are channeled to desired personnel.
* The role will also include the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly support and maintenance functions:
o Monitoring/checking & resolving any issues with the Backups, Disaster Recovery, keep alive monitoring
o Performing the monthly server/system patching
* Cyclical support/maintenance functions
o Backups, DR checks, processing checks, keep alive monitoring, patching, performance monitoring
and tuning.
o This will also include the Oracle database checks.
* Adhere to and develop all internal health and safety policies and procedures.
* Assisting in the configuration changes and setup of new networks, local and wide area.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
