Software Engineer / Backend Developer London to £100k

Software Engineer / Backend Developer (NodeJS C# AWS Microservices). Do you have a passion for coding and a desire to build brand new products from scratch?

You could be joining a well-established SaaS company's London based tech hub as they expand into the European market.

As a Software Engineer / Backend Developer, you will design and develop Greenfield products within the expenses space for financial institutions across Europe. You will form part of a cross functional development team where you will help define, code, test, and improve FinTech products and maintain complex backend services to power completely new functionalities that will help customers. The current tech stack the team uses includes C#, NodeJS, VueJS, React, and React Native and they are always looking at how new technologies and tools could help build the perfect products.

You will split your time between the London office and remote working (or you can be fully office based). You will need to be in the office 5 days across every two weeks.

Requirements:

You have strong backend programming skills using any modern language such as C#, Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or C++ although, you must be happy to use NodeJS.js going forward

You have experience in design and architecture and can build reliable, well-tested complex systems

You have a passion for code, a broad tech knowledge, and an ability to adapt to new products, projects, and tools

You are keen to take ownership of significant pieces of technology and software

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
