We are working on behalf of a successful multi national Semiconductor company who actively seeks a Graduate or Junior Analog IC Design Engineer to join an team of experienced engineers working on industry leading and state-of-the-art imaging solutions. Working within the Edinburgh Analog IC Design team you will be working on nanometer CMOS technology with responsibility for schematic capture, layout supervision, extraction and simulation of Analog IP and integration into top level design. Working in the ToF (Time of Flight) domain candidates with experience in high speed IP, clock distribution, matching, signal integrity would be an advantage. Due to the wide range of disciplines required to produce ToF products, the role may involve interfacing with optical and mechanical design teams in addition to silicon design and architecture. This fast changing environment is well suited to designers with a drive for continual improvement. This can be in a number of different areas and working with the team brings challenges in specification definition, design, modelling, implementation and verification.  This role will provide you with an opportunity to apply and gain knowledge in the growing segment of imaging. Industry degree qualified the successful Graduate Analog IC Design Engineer will have experience in Analog IC Design in CMOS and the relevant Cadence tools for schematic capture and layout. Experience in High Speed IP, custom logic and/or PLLs is of interest.   The successful applicant will be team focused and highly motivated with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
